Natural Beef

THE HERD

All of the cattle are born and raised on the farm and are sired naturally by Liz's own pedigree Aberdeen Angus bulls bought from the Famous Nightingale herd in Worcestershire.

Spring and Autumn calvings help optimise the best grazing year-round and ensures a good supply of beef. The calves are born close to the farm where Liz keeps a watchful eye on proceedings. They then stay and suckle their natural mothers for 8 -10 months. They are then sensitively weaned and allowed to graze the hills and levels until maturity. They are entirely grass fed, a naturally organic way of obtaining vital vitamins and minerals from the rich herb and meadow grassland. With immense space to roam, and woods and hollows for shelter, the cattle grow naturally in a stress free environment staying in the same groups from birth.
